ESSINGTON LEWIS AWARD
Minor Sustainment < $20M - ANZAC Follow On Support
CEA Technologies and ANZAC Systems Program Office (SPO)
CEA and the ANZAC SPO won this prestigious award, which was announced last night (31 August) at a Gala Dinner attended by almost 900 defence and industry representatives held at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. The award was accepted on behalf of CEA and the SPO by CDRE Rob Elliott who led the ASMD Upgrade program and now the ANZAC fleet, including Follow On Support.
Building on the strong foundation of the ASMD program, CEA Technologies and the Anzac SPO introduced a comprehensive sustainment program for this world leading technology. The program came in well below the expected budget and within a timeframe that allowed more time at sea for a heavily tasked asset. With a focus on constant communication and risk sharing, CEA and the SPO worked with the wider Anzac support team to maintain the fleet.
With the Anzac work focusing on the continued support of the world leading CEA phased array radar, CEA Technologies worked within the Warship Asset Management Agreement and the Anzac Systems Program Office (SPO) to deliver significant cost and time savings on the system.
Congratulations to all CEA staff involved across the many areas and locations of the company that this type of positive outcome depends upon.
