Hunter Class Future Frigate

The Hunter Class Frigate Program will provide a world-class capability, optimised for anti-submarine warfare, to replace the ANZAC Class Frigates. The new Hunter Class frigates are based on the UK’s Type 26 Global Combat Ship, modified to meet Australian requirements. The design changes include the CEA CEAFAR phased array radar.
