Hear From Our Team:
Procurement Officer
Purchasing Department
"I am a Procurement Officer where we are dedicated to procuring the needs of
both project related materials and day-to-day necessities for all members of the CEA
family. My job is to create a strong bond between supplier and company to pursue the
best quality components for CEA. I’m nearing 3 rapid years here, where I started in
the Quality Control department. Working in QC gave me hands on expertise on
identifying the conforming and non-conforming parts which make up these world-class
Radars, and flowed into my current role with ease. CEA has always shown great support
in my desires, in order to be the best person I can be inside and outside of CEA.
Seeing a friendly face is often easier found than coffee in the kitchen which forms
a fantastic base for company growth and personal blossoming."
Radio Frequency Design Engineer
Engineering
"I have been a RF (Radio Frequency) Design Engineer for over 20 years and my
current job title is RF Group Supervisor (RF1). Moving across from university to CEA was
seamless. The role of the CEA RF Engineer is primarily to design high frequency circuits,
PCAs (printed circuit assemblies), and modules. Over time, and with experience, the design
RF engineer moves towards becoming a Senior RF Engineer where the focus remains on design
but with increased involvement in system level engineering considerations. I have done
this for a number of years and now have a team of my own. CEA has been a flexible,
supportive work place for me, with opportunities for professional growth and I would
recommend it for work, and for work experience."
Senior Technical Officer
Hardware Engineering Department
"As a Senior Technical Officer within the Hardware Engineering Department,
I collaborate with various stakeholders to design printed circuit boards/assemblies,
develop test procedures and aid in system level integration. I joined CEA 10 years ago as
an apprentice Electronics Technician and was supported to complete a Certificate III in
Electronics & Communication. CEA is supporting me to complete my studies in a Bachelor of
Electrical & Electronic Engineering. CEA is a great workplace that helps to facilitate
professional development whilst also providing a dynamic work environment that is engaging
and challenging."
