Workplace Health and Safety

At CEA we recognise our responsibility to provide safe working environments for our diverse workforce. Health and safety in our workplaces and our products is effectively managed through a proactive risk assessment process, which is informed by expert industry advice and reviewed for continuous improvement. This process underpins CEA’s ISO Accredited Workplace Health & Safety Management System.

CEA considers strong employee engagement essential to Workplace Health and Safety, providing comprehensive internal training as well as opportunities to upskill through expert industry bodies. A network of Health and Safety Representatives is appointed throughout the organisation to ensure all employees are sufficiently represented and consulted regarding safety matters. We recognise that supporting the wellbeing of employees is integral to our success and ensure all injuries are managed with early intervention and supported by an Employee Assistance Program which is available to all CEA employees and their immediate family.

CEA’s Department Heads and Direct Reports to the Executives lead our safety culture by example, and our employees have a shared understanding of personal responsibility for safety in the workplace and the importance of everyone getting home safely.
